A Social Worker in the ministry of health and child care purpose and role is to support individuals, families and communities to overcome psychosocial, economic and health related challenges affecting their well-being

The Social Worker acts as the link between patients, their families, the health system and community support mechanisms to ensure comprehensive care and improved health outcomes

The Social Worker in the medical social work department collaborates with other healthcare professionals to address the social determinants of health and promote a holistic care for patients.
